"Music is the movement of sound to reach the soul for the education of its virtue." Plato
Joy is a classical singer from New Zealand of Scottish, English and Samoan heritage.
"Joy remembers at the age of 2, singing with her brothers and mother while her father played the piano before Church."
Joy gained considerable singing experience from church, school and university, gaining a broad repertoire by participating in many different surroundings.
Highlights have been singing Australia and New Zealand's National Anthems at the 'Bledisloe Cup'; performing the Special Olympics Anthem for its National sports meet; and singing at the Sydney Opera House Christmas Pantomime. Singing at Family Major events such as weddings and even funerals have been a great source of personal fulfillment for Joy.

In recent years, traveling to Jordan, Holland and Australia has helped develop her singing and listening to Jordanian, Egyptian, Bulgarian and Pacific performers has further enrichened life and musical experiences.
Joy's passion for assisting charity and community care have blossomed. Her meetings with citizens who work full time for such organizations have been invaluable to aspiring to her singing goals.
Currently, Joy has volunteered as both a singer and speaker for the National Breast Cancer Foundation of Australia. |
Finally, Her main goal is to contribute to the greater good. Helping by offering to sing for charities and community efforts. Some people can offer their skills as teachers or medical practitioners to those in need. Joy aspires to offer her skills and love of singing to contribute to giving help.

Flooding in Cumbria and Samoa caused chaos for people in 2009. Joy has recorded a Christmas CD to raise funds for both people affected. These CDs are for sale now £5 each with £2 going to Cumbria and £1 (exchange rate is reason for smaller contribution).
Please email if you are interested in buying a CD and thank you to all those who have shown their support.
"Thank you for visiting my site."
Joy
